| "Thumper" is a 1970 Lincoln Continental 2-door on a late '70s GM 3/4 ton chassis. It has 40" Gumbo Mudders on 15X10 alloy 5 spoke rims. Front axle is an open Dana 44, rear is a Corporate 12-bolt with, guess what: A LINCOLN LOCKER! The transfer case is an NP-205. Engine is the original Ford 460 V-8 with MSD ignition and Edelbrock carb backed up by a C6 auto transmission. It originally had 18 12" subwoofers and 6 6X9s, all removed except for the wiring harness. Still retains the factory guages, power windows and even the air conditioning compressor. A car alarm with keyless entry keeps it safe. Alas, Thumper found a new home a while back. But, we did have some fun with her while she was around. Maybe we can finally get started on making a four wheel drive golf cart with Rockwells...Hmmmm... |
